MEDAL was present at the 1st Algarve Property Show which took place on 11^th – 13^th  June 2011 at the Hotel Tivoli in Vilamoura. The exhibition was attended by some of the most prestigious companies from the areas of real estate investments and rental, in the Algarve.

Several seminars were held over the three days  which included topics of interest to foreigners who reside or wish to come to reside in the Algarve One of these topics “Multi-risk insurance for foreigners housing”, was presented by our own General Director Mr. Henrique Pinheiro. Mr Pinheiro talked about the main issues to consider when drawing up insurance for  for properties including area such as the recommendation of Civil Liability  when the occupation of the property is for private use or lease tourism, he also talked about the levels of franchises available in the market, along with things to take into consideration for calculating both the capital and insurance for the Building or Contents, management and settlement of claims, as well as the importance in choosing the correct "Insurance Broker" for providing development and assistance the insurance contract.
