Henrique Pinheiro, MEDAL’s managing director, has been in a special relationship with afpop since 1992, and takes pride in this to such an extent that he has maintained and developed a close relationship with the Management and the staff of afpop thus forming a more concrete relationship in 1996 when MEDAL was founded.
Medal was one of the first companies to realize the value of afpop as an Association and that as a group their members could, and should, benefit from more advantageous conditions on several products available in the Portuguese market. For this fact and from January 1996, we provided to afpop members, insurance policies, such as Household, Car and Health, with unique and exclusive conditions, which would be very difficult to get in the insurance market on your own as ordinary consumers.
We have been keeping up with the evolution and growth of afpop, and for this we have a specialized department working almost exclusively for afpop members. For documentation relating to afpop please visit our special packages.
